How consignment works in second-hand
Consignment means the shop sells goods for someone else against a commission. You do not own the stock. You take payment, keep your share and pay out the rest.
Follow-up is what breaks. Who dropped off the red coat? Which split applies? Did the customer already take SEK 200 in store credit? Serculate answers in real time, not in a sheet you update on Sunday.

What commission split should I use?+
Apparel often uses 40–60 percent to the seller. You set the deal. Serculate calculates the amount per sold item so you do not do it by hand.
Do I have to switch to a new POS like Crona?+
No. Serculate is the consignment layer on top of your till. Zettle or Express Retail stays the cash register. You get the same control of sellers and payouts without ripping out the POS.
